Season 27 is next in the calendar for the Apex Legends community. The new season is titled Amped, and apart from the traditional new content we can always expect, there are many changes in store for the battle royale.
Here is everything that has been revealed so far about the upcoming season, so you can make all the necessary preparations and finish the current battle pass in time.
When Does Apex Legends Season 27 Come Out?
A release date for Season 27 of Apex Legends hasn't been announced. However, given that each season lasts around three months, we expect the new season to begin sometime in November. Our best bet is that Season 27 will kick off on Tuesday, November 4th.
Regardless of the date, the season will start at 10:00 AM PT (6:00 PM BST) for all platforms. A patch will go live at that time to add all the new content.
Olympus Rising
A new version of the map Olympus, titled Olympus Rising, is coming to the game at the start of the season. This is a reworked Olympus, with four completely new POIs, new camps, additional cover in open spaces, and more.

Stabilizer
Dockyard
Respawn also confirmed that Tridents will be available on this map, but these have been tuned to feature better handling, more lenient boost control, and all-new ability to jump and glide over rough terrain.
New Items and Mechanics
The season brings a new alternator Hop-Up called Double Tap, which gives the weapon extra firepower in close-range engagements.
On the other hand, a new mechanic known as Mantle Boost will be introduced to help players climb objects faster. When pressing a button at the right time while climbing up a ledge or wall, the player will receive a short burst of movement.
Customizable on-screen indicators will be available to help users achieve the correct timing to get this boost. Respawn reassured players that this won't affect the unofficial Superglide mechanic many have already mastered.

- According to leaker HYPERMYSTx on X (formerly Twitter), these are the cosmetics coming with the new season's battle pass:
- Legendary - Bangalore, Lifeline, and Hemlok.
- Epic - Ash, Catalyst, Crypto, Wraith, Alternator, CAR, EVA-8, Lstar, R301, R99, Tripletake, and P2020.
- The loot quality in the drop zones will be adjusted for Ranked Play.
- A new wishlist feature will be available to help players improve their chances of getting the items they want in seasonal packs.
- Many legends will receive changes with the Season 27 patch, but these three will get major changes: Valkyrie, Rampart, and Horizon.
