- Quick Answer: Creative Assembly showcased an early look at Alien Isolation 2, teasing what the game might look like.
Summer Games Fest 2026 started with a few banger announcements, which include a first look at Alien Isolation 2.
The footage is very short and only shows the interiors of an abandoned facility, where the Xenomorph is scouting for its prey.

"It’s been 12 years since we released the first Alien Isolation, and we’re continuing what we started, creating an authentic new chapter which builds on that core Isolation experience of escaping the terrifying, unkillable, relentless Alien," AI Hope, the creative director at Creative Assembly, expressed on stage after the footage was shown.
For those who missed or want to give it another look, here is the short footage:
Alien Isolation 2 was originally announced back in October 2024, 10 years after the launch of the original title. At the time, SEGA and Creative Assembly said that the game was in "early development", meaning we can assume that the game has less than two years of development at the moment.
In terms of the plot, we still don't know whether Amanda Ripley will return as the protagonist, or if we will follow someone else's story.
Although the game doesn't have a release date, the trailer did confirm that the game is coming out for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam.
