The Wingman is almost in a class of its own in Apex Legends, not because it's heaps better than the other guns in the game, but because no other gun is quite like it.

The Wingman is grouped with both the P2020 and the RE-45 in the 'Pistol' category, although it performs more like a traditional Revolver due to the heavy rounds in the gun.

On this page we're going to tell you everything you need to know about the Wingman Pistol. Is it a gun you should look to pick up during your Season 11 travels? Or should you search elsewhere?

Wingman Review - Is It Good?

The Wingman is the most aggressive pistol selection available in Apex Legends, with a Revolver like approach.

It has the best range of any of the three pistols available in-game and far outweighs the other two in terms of the damage per shot. It also holds a decent amount of ammo given the damage it does.

On the other hand, it has a very slow firing rate and a particularly high recoil, which means you have to be incredible skilled with the gun in order to utilise it to its full capabilities.

It's not a great gun if you're a novice, however if you use it right, it is highly effective.
