If you're still playing on Origin, your game will be automatically updated in the coming hours so you'll be ready to go.
The new season marks the debut of Apex Legends on Steam, with EA slowly migrating much of its Origin catalogue to Valve's distribution platform.
Apex Legends' Season 7 introduces Horizon, "a brilliant astrophysicist who escaped a black hole and aims to use her newfound mastery of gravity to keep a promise" according to an EA blog post.
The new map, Olympus, is set atop the clouds, while a new "Trident" vehicle offers a faster way to get around, with room for the whole squad.
