How to Get Medicine to Cure Wasp Stings in Animal Crossing New Horizons
To get medicine to cure your wasp stings, you will either need to learn the recipe to craft it yourself or you can buy it from Nook's Cranny. We recommend that you learn both methods of getting medicine because getting stung is an inevitable hazard.
How To Get the Medicine DIY Recipe
To get a medicine recipe, players should talk to other islanders after having being stung. Before long one of them will comment on the stings on your character's face and present you with a DIY Recipe for Medicine. Once you have that, you can make the Medicine like any other object, and select it in your inventory to cure your injured face.
How to Craft Medicine
Medicine is very easy to craft, though you'll need an actual wasp nest to craft it. To craft medicine you will need the following ingredients:
- 3 x clumps of weed
- 1 x wasp nest
How To Buy Medicine
If crafting sounds too hard, you can always buy medicine from Nook's Cranny. You will find it in the equipment cabinet off to the right of the store once you've got it. It will cost you 400 bells to cure your sting.
How To Use Medicine
Once you have your Medicine you need to head to your pockets to find it. Click on it and select the "use" option. Once you consume the medicine, you will be healed. Medicine is a single-use item therefore you will need to craft or buy more if you're stung again.
Can You Avoid Being Stung?
You can avoid being stung if you're near an open building or a house with a villager inside of it. You will have a small amount of time to run once the Wasps spot you. If you manage to make it into a building during this time, the Wasps will not follow you and you will not be stung!
Also, if you're brave you can capture Wasps! When you're shaking a tree, make sure you have your net equipped in your hand. Once the Nest falls out of the tree you will need to quickly capture the Wasps as they appear. If you're fast enough you will not be stung.
