Animal Crossing New Horizons: Internet Mocks PETA For Strange Vegan AC Guide

PETA was mocked by the gaming community again after attempting to shoehorn their agenda into Animal Crossing: New Horizons, in the form of a 'vegan guide'.

Keep up to date with everything Animal Crossing by watching below!

It isn't the first time PETA has taken a bit of an online slating from the gaming community.

The release of their Pokemon game parody 'Pokemon Black & Blue' which saw an angry Pikachu revolting against trainers and freeing Pokemon, gained the group a lot of hate online.

PETA’s Vegan Guide to Animal Crossing: New Horizons reminds players that fishing isn’t vegan, and it urges players, that if they don’t fish in real life, not to do it in a game, either.

“Sure, unlike in real life, the fish in the game don’t feel pain, but fishing is harmful to animals and the planet," the guide explained. "This is your island, and it’s your job to protect it."

They also added “just as fish don’t belong in tanks, insects don’t belong inside cramped cases in a museum for other villagers to gawk at.”

The guide summarises by telling players to give their islands an 'animal-friendly name' to spread animal rights.

Well, it's safe to say, players weren't amused with PETA's bizarre tips, and hit right back, almost immediately.

PETA has a slew of game parodies and guides from Frogger to Super Mario Bros. It doesn't look like they have any intention of stopping, meaning they'll continue to bring you extremely helpful guides for all of your favourite games, lucky you.
