Animal Crossing: New Horizons – How to find Golden Nuggets

Golden Nuggets are easy to come by, but you will need some luck. You'll need to eat some fruit and then hit rocks with your shovel to break them.

If you're looking to preserve rocks on your island, you'll want to use Nook Miles to smash rocks on a deserted island – just to be safe.

They are rare, though, so expect to break plenty of rocks.

While Golden Tools aren't impossible to break, they'll last you a while.

You'll need recipes, and they don't come easily – in fact, you'll need to break 100 regular or flimsy axes to grab the recipe for the Golden Axe.

For the Golden Fishing Rod you'll need to catch all the fish, Golden Bug Net requires you to catch 80 Bugs, and the Gold Watering Can requires a five-star island rating.

Finally, to get the Golden Shovel you'll need to help Gulliver thirty times.

Now you'll just need to head to the crafting bench and combine a golden nugget with the tool you have the recipe for.

Oh, and you can also sell gold nuggets for 10,000 bells each!
