Animal Crossing New Horizons Balloon Trick: Get balloons to spawn every 5 minutes to grab more recipes

Animal Crossing New Horizons is still insanely popular after it's initial release.

Anyone can play from a toddler to your grandparents.

Balloons are a great way to get new items in the game.

Floating over your island, guided by the wind, they can offer furniture, clothes, or even recipes.

Thankfully, you can increase your balloon spawn rates with a new method uncovered by @arumi_kai on Twitter.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Balloon Spawn Guide

After sundown, balloons will spawn from a different location. Keep your eyes peeled for the direction they float in, be it from left to right or vice versa.

Balloons tend to spawn on every fourth or ninth minute, so expect to see one at 1:04, 1:09 etc. This process takes two minutes, so start two minutes before you spot your balloon.

When you have two minutes before a spawn, head to Nook's Cranny and ask about the price, before rejecting it.

Once you've done that, head to the side of your island where the spawns are coming from. You might need to keep moving up and down to see it, so stay on the move before shooting down the balloon when you can.

Once done, just keep heading back to Nook's Cranny and enquiring about a purchase before cancelling out, and heading back to the beach.

Good luck!
