Aliens are getting another videogame, following on from last-gen's excellent Alien: Isolation. Aliens: Fireteam goes a different way, though, offering a third-person shooter where players will duke it out with the horrific, scuttling Xenomorphs.

It's a little bit like a Left 4 Dead take on the series and from early impressions, we think it looks very promising. Here's everything we know about the game so far.

Deploy to overrun facilities, abandoned ruins, and strange alien landscapes as you battle terrifying enemies across four campaigns with two friends or AI teammates," the official blurb explains.

Players can pick one of three classes – the Gunner, the Demolisher, or the Technician, and there are 11 types of extraterrestrial nasties to slay.
