Mechwarrior is one of gaming's classic franchises, offering an unparalleled feeling of piloting a robotic death machine and bringing down enemy forces and any unlucky buildings that stand in your way.
MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is the series' latest entry, and it's finally coming to Xbox consoles – here's all we know so far.
What Is MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries?
MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is actually available to play right now, so long as you have a PC.
It launched back in 2019, and has players running a series of missions while managing their own band of mercenaries.
You'll manage your team and their loadouts, with your band of pilots requiring time off for injuries and more.
There are over 50 mechs to choose from, each with customisable setups.
The game comes to Xbox on May 27.
Developer Piranha Games worked on a huge variety of games, before working on MechWarrior Online.
MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will come to Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X – but there's no word on a PlayStation version yet.
As for Game Pass, we don't yet know if it'll drop on the service – but it is available on the PC version.
