The Nintendo Switch 2 is, without a doubt, a great successor to the original Nintendo Switch. It is certainly an upgrade over its predecessor, given that it has much stronger hardware. However, what really makes it stand out are its new features. While there are a lot, the most prominent one would have to be related to its Joy-Cons, as they can now function similarly to a computer mouse.
Such a useful feature has a lot of potential, as it can be utilized to provide new games with more interesting and engaging gameplay. There are many Nintendo franchises, both popular and obscure, that could take advantage of that knowledge, but the question is which ones would be the best to do so? Among all of them, there are a few that come to mind.
1. Fire Emblem

If there's anything that's going to make use of the Joy-Con mouse-like controls and do so well, then it has to be Fire Emblem. Having the franchise develop a new game with the controller's feature in mind could mean the introduction of things that would not have been possible in previous entries.
A good example would be wars in extremely vast environments with an incredible number of units, as keeping up with everything will be much easier with the mouse-like movement of the Joy-Cons. There are many interesting opportunities, making Fire Emblem the perfect franchise to create a new game with the controller's functionality in mind.
2. Yoshi

After separating from the popular Mario franchise, Yoshi has certainly made a name for itself with a bevy of amazing games. Given that the character is known for lobbing anything it can turn into an egg, it's likely to benefit from using the Switch 2's mouse-like Joy-Cons.
Doing so could lead to the creation of a new entry that involves using the controller to manually point at targets to either swallow or throw eggs at. Something like that may even lead to a first-person perspective instead of the usual third-person, making for something fresh to look forward to that could also showcase how the mouse feature can be used to innovate on an old franchise.
3. Animal Crossing

While the Joy-Cons' feature would certainly lead to a lot of quality-of-life updates in a new Animal Crossing game, that's not the only thing it would be good for. If the franchise were to create a new entry with it in mind, then it would certainly lead to a lot of interesting gameplay changes.
A good one is making fishing more immersive by using the Joy-Cons' mouse feature to cast the lure manually, and then pulling it with the right amount of strength to secure the catch. If not that, then perhaps some new events that require the use of the controller's functionality could be made, such as those that involve throwing, catching, or pointing at something. Sky's the limit, and Animal Crossing and the Joy-Cons' mouse feature might just go beyond it.
4. Wario

If the Switch 2 is going to have an entry from the Wario franchise, then it could make waves if it's from the WarioWare series. Given that its gameplay revolves around a rapid succession of minigames of numerous varieties, it would make sense that a new game would have some based on the Joy-Cons' mouse feature.
If it happens, then it would be very exciting, considering that there are seemingly endless possibilities as to what minigames could come out of it. Done right, it could even help propel the Switch 2 to greater heights, strengthening the case that a new WarioWare entry should be made with the Joy-Cons' mouse feature in mind.
5. Pikmin

Among all the franchises and series of Nintendo that would make the most out of the Joy-Cons' mouse feature, none would likely do it better than Pikmin. If it were to have an entry on the Switch 2, people should expect amazing things, given what it can do with the new tool it has to play with.
There could be levels where players can take control of even more Pikmin than before, or puzzles that are more intricate and cleverly designed than ever because of the mouse feature. It could even mean bigger environments than ever to play on, as they'll be much easier to navigate due to the new capability of the controller. In a way, it seems as if the Joy-Con mouse feature was made specifically for a new Pikmin game, and hopefully, it will happen in the near future.
Nintendo certainly has many franchises, but the ones mentioned have the best opportunities to make memorable and fun games with the Joy-Con mouse feature. While there's no telling if they'll ever be made, there is still the possibility that they could, given what could be gained from having it happen. So for now, we will all have to wait and see, but with hopes high rather than low.
