Pokemon Legends: Z-A is only a few hours away, and the excitement is so electric, Mega Raichu can't wait to meet us, too. Pokemon fans everywhere are refreshing their feeds nonstop and analyzing every bit of content released for it, official or not.
By this time, we have plenty of information already, like what Lumiose will look like or the new Mega Evolutions, but with all this hype, we can't help our curiosity grow even bigger! Let's talk about the biggest questions we have for Legends Z-A.
What Are the Biggest Questions We Have for Pokemon Legends: Z-A?
There's actually plenty! Is Lumiose Tower still a house for a gadget-addicted Gym Leader? Will we get lost in the underground tunnel systems of the game? How will the post-game be? Questions are just multiplying by the second like a Maushold advocating overpopulation.
Questions that will surely mold the excitement we already have right now, and we're about to get the answers very, very soon. I know, impatient much?
Is There a Gym and a Gym Leader in Lumiose City?

As a Pokemon X and Y fan, and hopefully you are too, the last time we were in this city, we fought and snatched the Gym badge from Clemont inside his Gym disguised as an electric tower. We have seen many times that it still stands in the middle of the city, so it would be awesome if we were able to challenge a Gym Leader inside.
If not Clemont, probably a teen by now, maybe we get to battle a replacement. We can all agree that would be a cool easter egg, even if we don't get a badge for it. Time for a rematch, Lumiose!
Will We Be Able to Own or Catch Eternal Floette?

Eternal Floette was an image of mythic mystery and heartbreak when we first met it in Pokemon X and Y. For the uninitiated, Eternal Floette features a unique design, with the flower it carries and its colorway.
We have seen in trailers that Floette is set to play a huge role in the game with an epic move we have yet to see, but it would be a priceless feeling if we could catch or obtain this unique Floette. With AZ's permission, of course.
How Big and Accessible Will the Underground Tunnel System Be?

Another question stuck in our minds is, how deep and immersive will the underground tunnel systems of Lumiose City be in Pokemon Legends: Z-A? We have seen in the trailers that it is indeed accessible, but as to depth and content, we are not yet sure.
Lumiose City, surely, won't be as big as the five open zones of Pokemon Legends Arceus, so one can only hope that the catacombs-inspired underground of Legends Z-A can be compared to Tears of the Kingdom's Depths.
How Many Buildings in the Game Can We Enter?

Pokemon fans had many outspoken gripes when they played Scarlet and Violet, and one of them is the buildings serving only as useless digital assets that we can't enter. Unethical, yes, but that's how Pokemon has always been.
It seems like Legends Z-A will be no different, despite being full of these structures. Our very own review of the game mentions how players are unable to enter most of the buildings around the city, and while it sounds like Lumiose is packed with indoor locations, it’s quite the opposite. Let's hope more are added further down the line!
Does It Run Well on the Original Nintendo Switch Systems?

We can all agree that the Nintendo Switch 2, coming at a $450 price tag, is very expensive, so not everyone will be able to get their hands on it to begin with. As a result, there will be many fans who will be playing Legends Z-A on their original Switch.
We know by now that Pokemon Legends: Z-A was developed for the Switch 1 and enhanced for the Switch 2, so many are still hoping it will be optimized for the less powerful system. We can't blame them after Scarlet and Violet's performance fiasco.
Will It Have a Post-Game?

Now, the one question that keeps us all up at night. The Mega Dimension DLC was announced before the game was even released, so the worry that there won't be substantial post-game content is real.
Pokemon Legends Arceus gave us a legendary, pun intended, post-game with Volo, and we can only hope that Pokemon Legends: Z-A will be able to live up to its older brother.

The city lights of Lumiose are only a sleep away, and the excitement to walk in its Pokemon-filled pavements is palpable. Again, we know that all of our questions will be answered very soon, especially through discovery.
No doubt, Pokemon Legends: Z-A will feel special, but for now, let's keep asking and let's keep loving the series we all grew up with.
