5 Features ARC Raiders Needs to Stay Strong in 2026

ARC Raiders

ARC Raiders

ARC Raiders remains strong after three months, and its numbers continue to rise. With over 300,000 to 400,000 daily active users on Steam alone, demand for new content in ARC Raiders is at an all-time high.

As 2026 begins, there are a lot of expectations for what players can expect in ARC Raiders. Here are five things I want to see Embark add in the game’s future:

Crossover Collaborations

Like any other live-service game, crossover collaboration events add extra flavor to its traditional gameplay. ARC Raiders would benefit from third-party collaborations as long as they fit with its themes of looting and science fiction. It doesn’t have to be the same as Call of Duty’s Nicki Minaj and Beavis and Butthead.

Franchises like Tomb Raider, Uncharted, or Indiana Jones would be great starting crossovers for ARC Raiders. They don’t have to be grand events, but rather, Embark can add iconic cosmetics and a small chunk of new content from its existing maps.

Server Raid Events

ARC Raiders is a game about raiding loot, and it barely has enough activities that we can consider ‘Raids.’ Unlike smaller boss encounters, these events would reshape an entire server’s objective. The Matriarch and Queen battles come in close, but they are nowhere close to what players wanted: an entire event dedicated to taking down one massive Arc.

This is going to be a challenging case for Embark, as adding a server-wide raid event would hurt PvP enthusiasts. There are ways to remedy this, like adding separate servers or lobbies for those who prefer PvP and PvE. This doesn’t split the playerbase, as it is a temporary event, and players who prefer the hybrid PvEvP of ARC Raiders can play by switching the game mode.

Speranza Social Hub

One of the major things missing in ARC Raiders is the lack of a social hub where players can gather and have fun. Speranza already exists as a hub, but players can’t freely move and explore.

A social hub in ARC Raiders would greatly bolster its community. Meeting strangers and asking them to go on raids feels more organic than matchmaking with randoms. This is also a great place for other players to work on their grievances after accidental PvP shootouts and other heartbreaking betrayals.

More ARC Variety

ARC Raiders is more than just the Raiders. The variety of terrifying clankers makes the game engaging. Yes, the aggressive and bloodthirsty PvP community can be a problem, but the Arcs are the best part of the game. Which is why Embark would be silly not to add more Arc variety in future updates.

Bigger Arcs are the most expected, since we can already see them in some of the game’s maps. Though we can’t interact with it, we can see how terrifying they are. Imagine a server-wide event just to take this down.

An Outer Space Level

ARC Raiders is primarily a science fiction game. These Arcs don’t just come out of nowhere, so it’s natural that players are curious where these machines are coming from.

An outer space level would be the game’s most ambitious addition. It would either be a makeshift space station built by the people of Speranza or inside the shell of a dead Arc that can sustain life. Both are possible, and it would add new gameplay gimmicks to ARC Raiders’ looter-shooter gameplay. Imagine taking down other Raiders or Arcs in low-gravity. That would make things far more interesting.

While there are many other things we can expect in ARC Raiders’ future, these five are the most realistic updates that we can see Embark add in later seasons.

ARC Raiders is barely a year old, but it’s already racking up consistent player numbers since its launch. Embark knows that the game is just beginning, and more content is definitely coming our way.
