Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4 launches this December 16, and Capcom is already preparing hunters for what to expect.
Apart from the return of the fan-favorite Elder Dragon Gogmazios, Title Update 4 will also include major improvements to quality of life, performance, and overall content in the game.
More 9-Star Monsters Coming to Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4

The first major change in Monster Hunter Wilds’ Title Update 4 is the introduction of more powerful 9-Star monsters. Fan-favorites like the Rathalos and Doshaguma will get beefed-up versions with increased health and damage. We already have our fair share of 9-Star monsters in Title Update 3, including Apexes like Nu Udra and Uth Duna.
These 9-star monsters are essentially a tease for Monster Hunter Wilds’ MR (Master Rank) difficulty, which is coming with its imminent expansion.
More 9-Star monsters are expected to drop during Title Update 4 via future event quests.
New Artian Weapon Upgrades in Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4

As Gogmazios drops in the free Title Update 4, players will have a new way to upgrade their Artian Weapons, enhancing their overall strength and quality. They are called Gogma Artians, and players will need to acquire materials obtained by slaying the Elder Dragon Gogmazios.
Upgrading an Artian Weapon to Gogma Artian will carry over any existing stat bonuses, but it also adds one set of Bonus Skill and one Group Skill at random. Players can enhance or reroll the Gogma Artian Weapons to activate more powerful bonuses, but at the cost of more Gogmazios materials.
It shares the same system as augmented weapons in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.
New Armor Upgrades in Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4

Similar to the Gogma Artian Weapons, Monster Hunter Wilds' assortment of armors can be enhanced with a new system called “Armor Transcendence.”
Transcended armors will increase their overall armor level, granting you the option to upgrade their defensive capabilities by using Armor Spheres. Players low on Armor Spheres can rest easy knowing that Title Update 4 makes them easier to find via event quests.
Perhaps the most important aspect of this new feature is that Decoration Slots will increase after Transcendence. Armors with low Deco slots can be upgraded with more slots, opening more opportunities for powerful buildcrafting.
It is only available for High-Rank armors and hunters at HR 100 or higher.
Quality of Life Enhancements Coming to Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4

Capcom loves to streamline the hunting experience in Monster Hunter Wilds, so Title Update 4 will bring a slew of quality of life enhancements. This includes discarding items from the item pouch, and item usage is no longer cancelled when riding a Seikret.
Other important changes, such as seeing more information from the items we get from Nata’s Material Retrieval, are also coming to Title Update 4.
These major updates are slated to arrive in Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4. Some, like event quests, might arrive later as Capcom is hard at work optimizing the game’s myriad of performance issues.
