Battlefield 6’s Red Bull crossover appeared so low-key that it initially came across as a technical issue.
The entire tab looked inaccessible to all regions, which led to widespread confusion and a flood of Reddit discussions about whether the event required codes or buying cans.
Then the weekly reset rolled in, the page flipped from red to active, and everything finally made sense.
Now that everything is open, the event adds ten action-heavy objectives and three extra missions across the major playlists, rewarding players with XP and sharp-looking cosmetics for completing them.
Why Did the Red Bull Challenges Appear Locked at First?
Battlefield 6’s Red Bull crossover event confused a lot of players at first because the entire page showed up locked, even in regions where the promotion wasn’t supposed to be active.

The situation is simpler than it seems because the tab comes in early, while the challenges only activate after the weekly reset and after you finish enough event tasks.
Once the reset hits, everything unlocks at once with no codes, no purchases, and no regional limits.
The retail Red Bull promo in the US is completely separate and has no connection to these in-game objectives.
These challenges are free, available for everyone, and part of the December 2–16 event window.
How to Complete Each Red Bull Challenge

Main challenges:
- Perform 3 combat rolls after jumping off a ledge: Look for a short fall like a balcony, container, or rooftop edge, then jump off and perform three rolls across your matches.
- Capture 10 enemy flags without leaving a vehicle: Stay seated inside a jeep, APC, or buggy and park inside the capture ring in Conquest, Breakthrough, or Escalation.
- Spot 200 enemies using the Recon Drone: Equip the drone, fly above active objectives in large modes, and sweep over enemy lanes while tagging everything that moves.
- Revive a teammate on an enemy-held objective: Push a contested point, stay behind your frontline, and revive the first teammate who goes down inside the capture zone.
- Spend 600 seconds sprinting: Play normally and rotate between objectives at full sprint. The timer builds naturally during active matches.
- Spend 10 consecutive seconds parachuting: Jump from a tall rooftop or helicopter and open your chute immediately, gliding gently until you reach the 10-second mark.
- Get 5 seconds of Golf Cart airtime in RedSec: Grab a Golf Cart early, hit natural ramps like hills, dunes, or broken bridge edges, and build airtime in small increments.
- Travel 5,000 meters in land vehicles: Spend a few rounds behind the wheel, shuttling your squad between objectives in light transports or APCs.
- Spend 180 seconds in aircraft: Ride or pilot helicopters in large maps, staying airborne by circling friendly territory or safe map edges.
- Survive 600 seconds in RedSec battle royale: Avoid hot-drop zones, gear up, rotate with the circle using cover, and stack survival time across multiple attempts.
Bonus Challenges
- Win 10 Gauntlet matches: Play with a coordinated squad if possible; objective-focused teamwork wins more consistently.
- Win 5 RedSec matches: Stick to careful rotations and solid positioning because a stable trio lifts your win rate fast.
- Win one match in Conquest, Breakthrough, Rush, Strikepoint, and TDM: Swap modes after each win until the full row checks off. This unlocks the Candid soldier skin.
None of the objectives involve strange requirements or a major shift in how you play.
You just jump into different playlists, spend a bit more time in vehicles, and tick off a few simple stunts.
If you pace them out across the event window, you’ll finish the full board long before December 16 arrives.
