Have you been using the wrong guns this whole time?

When you're first starting out in Apex Legends or returning after seasons have passed it can get a bit confusing with all the different gun type.

There's assault rifles, SMGs, LMGs, snipers, shotguns and pistols, a lot to choose from.

No worries! We're going to rank all weapons available in the game right now, Season 7, from S tier to D.

We'll be sure to update this piece as new weapons are released and seasons go live.

Apex Legends Weapon Tier List

S Tier

  • R-99
  • Hemlok
  • R-301
  • Volt
  • Mastiff
  • Peacekeeper
  • Kraber
  • Triple Take
  • Prowler

The weapons in the S tier as ones that will put out as much damage as possible whilst having very minor recoil.

These are your go-to weapons if you can find them, many can be found in care packages.

A Tier

  • VK-47 Flatline
  • G7 Scout
  • Devotion
  • Wingman

The Wingman can output insane damage if you know how to use it and can aim well.

Many of these weapons are in the A tier as long as you have the attachments for them, like the Turbocharger for Devotion.

B Tier

  • Longbow DMR
  • EVA-8 Auto
  • Charge Rifle
  • Spitfire

The weapons above are probably not your first choice but are great for protective yourself early game while looting.

If any other weapons in a higher tier pop up its probably best to switch them over.

You can still win with B tier weapons as you can with any tier, it's just more of a challenge.

C Tier

  • Alternator SMG
  • RE-45 Auto
  • L-STAR EMG
  • HAVOC Rifle

These weapons are the kind you'll likely scramble to pick up as you land.

They're good for if your only alternative is a Mozambique but not much else.

D Tier

  • P2020
  • Mozambique Shotgun

Please do not use a Mozambique or P2020 unless you have nothing else.

There's literally no reason in the world to keep them apart from maybe if you want to make an 'epic gamer moment' video.
