Overwatch 2’s Stadium mode is getting more attention thanks to its growing player base. With the recent Season 18 update, Blizzard introduced new mechanics to the game by adding a Quick Play Stadium mode for casual players, as well as adding new characters. For those who want a more competitive challenge, Ranked Stadium is where the real action happens.
This Season 18, Overwatch’s iconic genius monkey Winston is stepping into the Stadium arena with his massive Tesla Cannon and peanut butter-powered leaps. Here’s the best Winston build in Stadium:
Winston The Unstoppable Build

I call this the Unstoppable Build because it focuses on boosting Ability Power, weapon lifesteal, and overall survivability, allowing Winston to be a constant nuisance the moment he leaps in with his Jump Pack and unleashes damage with his Tesla Cannon.
The idea is to keep Winston effective in longer teamfights. Having overhealth while chipping away at enemies with his Tesla Cannon works well, and the powered-up Jump Pack gives him a quick escape option.
In the late game, this build turns Winston into a true powerhouse. Once he lands on an enemy team, he can shred squishier targets with his high-damage Tesla Cannon and disrupt their formation while holding ground inside his Barrier.
Most of the upgrades in this build enhance his Barrier, Tesla Cannon, and Jump Pack.

Powers
- Circuit Breaker - The first essential Power to pick up. It boosts your Tesla Cannon damage and grants overhealth with each hit.
- Primal Punch - Another must-have Power. You can swap this with Circuit Breaker depending on the matchup. It resets the cooldown of Winston’s Jump Pack after every kill with his Melee or Jump Pack.
- Electro Cluster - Key to upgrading Tesla Cannon damage and extending its range.
- Moon Landing - A great option if you’re struggling against high-damage enemies. Use this when fights get overwhelming in later rounds, as it heals Winston every time he uses his Jump Pack.
Early Game Builds
- Plasma Converter - Highly recommended for 10% weapon lifesteal on the Tesla Cannon.
- Zero-G Suit - Boosts movement speed whenever you use Jump Pack, making it easier to dive in and out.
- Power Playbook - Increases ability power, making Jump Pack hits stronger.
- Horizon Expander - Optional, but increases Jump Pack’s damage radius based on jump height.
Late Game Builds
- Gibraltar Generator - Crucial upgrade that boosts Tesla Cannon damage while inside your Barrier.
- Simian Supplements - Strengthens your Barrier, letting you stay alive and deal damage longer.
- Mark of the Kitsune - Extra ability damage boost.
- Lucheng Launchers - A filler option for when you have nothing else to buy. Useful if you keep using Primal Rage for more damage and sustain.
Flex Abilities
- Premium Peanut Butter - Cleanses negative status effects like Ana’s Biotic Grenade whenever you use Jump Pack.
- Smart Armor - A solid counter against shotgun-heavy heroes like D.Va and Reaper.
- S. Pacearmor - Good if your Primal Rage isn’t having much impact. It helps with survivability after your Ultimate ends.
- Winton - Not the best late-game ability, but fun in early rounds. It gives 2,000 extra credits after every round won. Perfect for an early boost and a running gag.
That wraps up Winston’s “Unstoppable” Stadium Build. Remember, Winston is a hero who requires planning. Don’t just dive into the enemy without a strategy.
