NetEase has just announced a brand new game mode coming to Marvel Rivals’ Season 3.5 called “Resource Rumble.” It introduces a fresh way to compete with other players and takes place on an entirely new map.
Here’s everything you need to know about this new mode:
How Resource Rumble Works

Resource Rumble is a new addition to Marvel Rivals and joins the lineup of existing modes like Domination, Convoy, and Convergence. Each match consists of 4 players per team, and the goal is to capture objective points and reach a total of 360 points as they unlock randomly throughout the game.
Teams fight over scrap or “resources” by holding objectives for as long as possible. The longer a team controls the area, the more resources they gather. The team with the highest total wins.
Players can also “Hijack” areas by stealing the enemy team’s stockpiles, which often leads to the biggest firefights of the match.
The mode shares similarities with Overwatch 2’s Flashpoint, where players rush to capture the next objective before their opponents do. At its core, it feels a lot like the classic “King of the Hill” mode seen in many competitive shooters.
New Map

The new map, Throne of Knull in Klyntar, features three objective points: Hel Gate, Throne of Knull, and Breeding Caverns. Fans of the comics will also find plenty of Symbiote-themed easter eggs hidden throughout the map.
Resource Rumble Release Date
Resource Rumble will be available starting August 21. The mode will first appear in Quickplay, while Ranked availability will come at a later date.
