Destiny Receives Another “Hot Fix” - Nightstalkers Tamed

Destiny has received another “Hot Fix” in order to temporarily resolve a serious issue with the new Hunter subclass, the ‘Nightstalker’.

For those of you who aren’t aware, until yesterday, Guardians of the ‘Nightstalker’ subclass were able to exploit a glitch, allowing them to continuously user their ‘Super’ ability, the Shadowshot.

With the ‘Quiver’ perk enabled, players would use their Shadowshot, quickly select the pause menu and return to the game to find another super ability available, granting them unlimited Shadowshot’s as long as they continuously followed the above routine.

As one can expect, this exploit was quickly discovered and abused by a mass amount of Destiny users, ruining the experience of several game modes, including the Iron Banner. As a result, Bungie have now temporarily removed the ‘Quiver’ perk from all Nightstalker subclasses, as a quick fix to the problem.

The ‘Hot Fix’ also brought around the news of increased rewards for specific activities and other changes to the player experience, including more information regarding the King’s Fall Hard Mode, due for release on the 23rd of October.
