Battlefield 6

The launch of Battlefield 6 was only the beginning. Just a few weeks after the base game launches on October 10, 2025, EA will begin rolling out its first wave of post-launch content.

Season 1 began on October 28 and rolls out in three phases. The updates are Rogue Ops, California Resistance and Winter Offensive.

Each adds fresh maps, modes, and gear. For players looking to understand every map added or transformed this season, here’s the full rundown.

Blackwell Fields (October 28)

Season 1 opens with Blackwell Fields, a battleground built on the bones of a reactivated American air base in the California badlands.

The terrain alternates between open desert, vehicle-ready routes, and secure infantry sections.

Tanks and air vehicles have the room to dominate wide approaches, but there are also choke points and natural cover that allow squads to push forward on foot.

Eastwood (November 18)

The second drop heads for Eastwood, a calm SoCal suburb turned battlefield.

Combat moves through tree-lined streets, across backyards, and over a wide golf course that acts as a risky flank.

The layout features layered sightlines with compact rooms for close battles, medium streets for coordinated movement, and open fairways where vehicles can operate but remain exposed.

Ice Lock Empire State (December 9)

Season 1 ends with a festive but dangerous twist on one of Battlefield 6’s launch maps.

The Brooklyn-set Empire State map is being reworked into Ice Lock Empire State for the winter.

Snow and ice change what you can see and where you can hide, while Freeze forces squads to adjust as footing turns slick, cold slows you down, and cover evolves under fire.
