Have you got the need?

A Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit remaster was originally revealed through a VentureBeat article back in June, and leaks since have revealed more about the game.

Here's everything we know so far about the fresh coat of paint on Criterion's 2010 racer.

Release Date

According to an Amazon UK listing, the game will launch on November 13 (well spotted, ResetEra).

The listing has been pulled, suggesting there's a good chance there was some validity to it.

Platforms

The remaster will be coming to the following platforms:

  • Xbox One
  • PS4
  • PC
  • Nintendo Switch

What Is Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit?

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit was developed by Criterion Games, and offered a great racer full of handbrake drifts and police chases.

Players could play as both racers and police vehicles, and the game's Metacritic score stands at a very respectable 88 and 89 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions respectively.

Trailer

Expect a full trailer in the coming weeks!

Price

The aforementioned Amazon listing notes that the game will retail for £34.99 on Xbox One, so expect other platforms to follow suit.
