The three day 2025 IGG World Championship was held in Incheon, South Korea last week, and by all accounts was a roaring success.
An event featuring a trio of IGG’s most popular titles - Viking Rise (on the 29th of August), Lords Mobile (30th of August), and Doomsday: Last Survivors (31st of August) - it offered up a set of rewards worth over $400,000 in cash prizes, in-game items, and physical merchandise.
Let’s take a look at exactly what happened shall we?
A massive offline event

This was by far IGG’s largest world championship event of the year, where players from multiple countries and regions competed across its games. The aim was to find the best players of each title’s bustling communities, and provide a platform to showcase their skills.
Here are the results from each game involved.
Lords Mobile: 12 teams with 36 players across 16 countries and regions participated
The winner was the one who held it the longest, which turned out to be T4K.
There was an Invitation Match Mode introduced for the event as well, with 18 South Korean players facing off in solo, 15-minute battles - fighting to control a key in-game building.
Viking Rise: 8 elite teams comprising a total of 24 players from across multiple countries and regions.
This was the first ever offline tournament for the game, and centred around the Sacred Crucible Game Mode. In this SLG team-battle-royale game teams played “Sacred Crucible” where they entered the Divine Realm - battling monsters and rival forces.
The champion of the 2025 Viking Rise World Championship was r350! They conquered this grand event with absolute dominance, and each victory has etched a legend!
Doomsday: Last Survivors: 32 top players in 4 elite teams
A brand-new “Off Limits War” mode was created exclusively for the championship, with four elite squads duking it out in 35-minute matches to capture and control Devices.
Thirty-two players formed four teams and engaged in intense competition on the timed battlefield, showcasing impressive performances throughout the matches.
In the grand finale, the four team medals merged under the spotlight, forming a dazzling ultimate World Championship trophy that also revealed a special gift code — a surprise for players everywhere, both online and offline.
What else?

IGG teamed up with many sponsors across gaming, tech, lifestyle, and entertainment industries for the event - helping to make it bigger and better than the previous iteration for the contestants, attendees, and viewers from home.
This included a range of imaginative stage designs, interactive fan zones with prize giveaways aplenty, vibrants cosplay & character showcases, and a Special DLS “Zombie Outbreak” Experience.
This allowed roaming zombies to interact with the crowd, and attendees could pose with them - if they dared.
It all helped to create an event that was a massive celebration of true player passion and the power of the gaming community.
