As the FIFA 22 cycle comes to a close, Ultimate Team fans are beginning to turn their attention to what FIFA 23 has to offer. The next football title from EA Sports is the final one to use the FIFA name before EA Sports FC takes to the helm.

As many look to gain the upper hand in the early stages of the game, some are already looking ahead to the launch of the fifa 23 web app and a first look at the FIFA 23 trailer. The launch of the Web App means players can begin trading players and earning coins ahead of the game's launch.

FIFA 23 Web App release date

According to FIFAUTeam, the Web App will launch at the same time as the EA Play Early Access period. Current rumours suggest early access and the Web App release will take place on September 21, 2022.

Following the launch of the Web App, the FIFA 23 Companion App will release a day later on September 22, 2022.

That now appears to be the official line from EA Sports as well, meaning you don't have long left to wait.

How to download FIFA 23 app

At the time of writing, the FIFA 23 Companion App isn't available to download. However, we can expect it to follow a similar pattern to the launch of previous FIFA apps.

Nearer to launch, the app will appear on the App Store and Google Play for iOS and Android users to download the app onto their mobile devices. Simply press the download button to install it.

FIFA 23 Web App cover star

For the past two years, Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold has featured as the cover star of the FIFA Web App. For FIFA 23, this could well change.

French forward Kylian Mbappe was the cover star across all editions of FIFA 22 and there's every chance they could appear as the face of the Web App. Either way, the player appearing on the login screen will be one of EA's ambassadors.

FIFA 23 release date

As per EA Sports following a new trailer, the game will launch on September 30, 2022.

This would make sense considering the launch of FIFA 22 took place on October 1, 2021.
