Resident Evil 9 Leaks Promise Biggest Budget Ever

A rumour claims that Resident Evil 9 has the biggest development budget in the franchise. The rumours also claim that the game will be released in January 2025. Both of these come from the same leaker.

According to the leaker, Dusk Golem, not only does the game have the largest budget compared to previous entries, but it also has the longest development time.

He also claims that we can see the release of the game at the start of next year. “The possible delay I had heard murmurs about can be pushed aside,” he said.

“Resident Evil 9 should be revealed pretty soon and release next year. If what I heard previously holds true, should be in January. It’ll have had about seven years in development,” he added.

According to the rumours, the game has been in development since 2018, and in 2025, it will complete its 7 years of development. Additionally, he claimed that Resident Evil 9 could be an open world game.

Dusk Golem has a pretty good record for making accurate leaks, so these rumours are likely to be true. He also suggests that Resident Evil 9 will act as a closing chapter to its previous entries, Resident Evil 7 and 8, making it a trilogy of games.

With its successful prequels, fans have great expectations for Resident Evil 9 and are eagerly waiting for its release. A Resident Evil fan on Reddit said, “Man I can't wait!
