Is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Open-World?

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is not an open-world game.

It is an action-adventure title that takes place in the Sky which is the game’s overworld where players control Link while navigating through its areas.

The Dungeons on the other hand can be found on the Surface area of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD.

The known open-world title from the Zelda games is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

But as for the upcoming remastered version of Skyward Sword, it will be keeping its action-adventure nature just like most games from the franchise.
