YuGiOh Master Duel Limits Log-Ins After XYZ Festival Causes “Surge in Access”

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel has been a hit for Konami, though it's now suffering for that success. Konami has confirmed that due to a sharp increase in players, Master Duel's planning to limit log-ins for the XYZ Festival.

Compounding these issues, Xbox Support confirmed that matchmaking issues are affecting the Xbox versions of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. Considering the game allows for cross-platform multiplayer and cross-progression, this shouldn’t be a huge problem for players, but it’s still unfortunate.

No timetable for fixing these log-in issues has been revealed yet, though we'll keep you informed as we hear more.
