Lost Judgment Features A Playable SEGA Master System


Lost Judgment will feature a playable Sega Master System. It's become a staple in Yakuza/Judgment games to feature older SEGA games. Having previously seen retro classics like Space Harrier, Fantasy Zone, Virtua Fighter and more, Lost Judgment's continuing that trend.

While Judgment previously contained a pinball machine - replaced by OutRun in the remastered edition - protagonist Takayuki Yagami has gotten his hands on a SEGA Master System now. As such, it's the first time we've seen a home console represented, as opposed to arcade games.

Sharing a video of this in action, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio confirmed Alex Kidd in Miracle World and Penguin Land will be playable. While more Master System games could be included within the upcoming sequel, just how many remains unknown. That's viewable from the 4 minute mark.

Having officially confirmed Lost Judgment last month, this marks the first time a Yakuza game has seen a simultaneous worldwide release. Due to release on September 24, that arrives on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, and you can read more about it here.
