Rumour: Two Thirds of Xbox's Works in Progress are Unannounced Games

Microsoft has experienced its most successful console launch yet, with the Xbox Series X|S being the company's fastest-selling systems and a slew of upcoming games, including Fable, State of Decay 3 and Senua's Saga: Hellblade II. The insider made the comments on a The Xbox Two podcast episode (first spotted by TheGamer), when Windows Central reporter Jez asked if Rand knew about Microsoft's Xbox roadmap.

Rumour: Two Thirds of Xbox's Works in Progress are Unannounced Games

Rand al Thor 19 said he's unaware of some specifics, including the rumored Kojima title and anything connected to Bethesda, but said two thirds of games in development for Xbox are as-yet unannounced.

Microsoft has been hard at work expanding Xbox Game Studios, from acquisitions like Team Ninja to wider endeavors such as the Bethesda deal, so it makes sense that multiple games are being worked on.

Meanwhile, Jez said new information on Avowed, Obsidian's latest RPG, should be surfacing within the next month. If that's true, it'll be the first time we've seen the game following its reveal in June 2020.
