Microsoft Could Hold Another Xbox Event This Month - Reports

“It may be a tech and platform-oriented event with some smaller game announcements, or something more," Windows Central says in its reporting.

The site's executive editor Daniel Rubino also tweeted: “No surprise, but April, May, and June 2021 will be big announcement months for Microsoft. Instead of one big event, the company prefers smaller ones where it can keep the momentum going.”

Late last month, Xbox's marketing chief Aaron Greenberg quote-tweeted a DualShockers post about a potential Elden Ring trailer reveal at an Xbox event later this month and quashed rumours of world premieres.

"Just to set expectations: this is not happening. There are always things we have in the works, but nothing coming soon that would feature game announcements or world premieres like this."

Things often change (and the event has already apparently been pushed back by a few days), but it'll be interesting to see what Microsoft has planned.

Last month, Microsoft revealed a new "FPS Boost" functionality coming to certain titles, while the company also finally confirmed its stance on Bethesda game exclusivity this week.
