Tazavesh, the Veiled Market has finally made its way to the 9.1 chains of domination PTR and is available for testing.
Tazavesh, the Veiled Market is a new 8 boss mega-dungeon coming to the Shadowlands.
Much like the previous mega-dungeons, Mechagon in Battle for Azeroth and Return to Karazhan in Legion, this large-scale dungeon features many weird and wacky mechanics that make it different than traditional dungeons.
Update 27/5 - Two new mounts have been added to the game that is coming from the dungeon. One is a reward from an acheivement that is still yet to be added, and the next is a drop from the final boss, So'leah. there is still no word of a hard mode version so the achievement might be the closest thing to it. Source - WowHead.
During 9.1 Tazavesh, the Veiled Market will remain a Mythic only dungeon and won't be a part of the Mythic plus system, likely staying this way until patch 9.2.
There is a clear halfway point that indicates it was designed with mythic plus in mind.
Update 21/06 - The hard mode version of this dungeon has been found on the PTR with the latest build, giving each boss a unique hardmode ability however, it does require some setup before you start. Read the full guide over on Wowhead.
WoW Shadowlands: What is Tazavesh, the Veiled Market Everything You Need to Know
"To gain access to Tazavesh, the Veiled Market you’ll complete a short series of quests beginning with the Innkeeper, Host Ta’rela, in The Idyllia section of Oribos." Blizzard says.
The bosses in order are:
- Zo'phex the Sentinel
- The Menagerie
- Mailroom Mayhem
- Au'myza's Oasis
- Timecap'n Hooktail
So far there is no "hard mode" addition to the dungeon-like we saw in Mechagon.
"This Mythic-only instance can reward players with loot coveted by broker society—including a dazzling assortment of weaponry, otherworldly pets, and a mount."
One thing blizzard always nails is the encounters in dungeons and raids, and when given the opportunity to try something different in a mega-dungeon, we are sure to see some unique fights and rewards.
Chains of Domination is still undergoing weekly updates on the PTR and currently has no release date.
