WoW Classic TBC Pre Patch PVP Gear Costs

The Burning Crusade pre-patch has been announced for May 18th, not leaving players much time to experience all the changes coming into the game and prepare their character to enter through the Dark Portal.

The pre-patch will change how PvP gear works allowing players to obtain the gear regardless of PvP rank, which will help new characters during the leveling process in Outland.

Two currencies will be required to purchase this gear. Different Battleground Marks of honor will be required for different gear and honor points are redesigned and will be used to buy items instead of increase your rank.

Players can start collecting marks of honor currently however, they are capped out at 20, and will be increased to 100 in pre-patch.

It may be unrealistic for players to achieve a full set of gear during the two-week pre-patch so players should prioritize what gear they think is most effective. Weapons will be a target for most players to achieve as they fill their gear slots with other options from raids and dungeons.

Players can also purchase the blue quality PvP gear which is lower in stats and costs much less, although provides the same equip bonus if that's all players are after.
