WoW Classic: Season Of Mastery Phase 2 Set To Release December 16th

Blizzard has announced a quick release date for Phase 2 of the Season of Mastery, just one month after the release of the new server option for World of Warcraft.

The release schedule for the Season of Mastery is already faster than that of a normal expansion or classic was in 2019, with one-year seasons, which is why phase 2 may seem to be released so early.

Phase 2 will see the release of two world bosses, Azuregos, and Lord Kazzak, which come with all new gear drops, and a guaranteed way to obtain the Eye of Shadow to create benediction for Priests, and Mature Blue Dragon Sinew for Hunters to create the Ancient Sinew Wrapped Lamina Quiver.

Phase 2 will release on December 16th, where these two world bosses will now spawn, however they are on long spawn timers so may not be seen for a few days.

For players on big servers, expect large groups forming to take down these bosses, and even epic PvP battles.

Lord Kazzak can be found patrolling the Tainted Scar in Blasted Lands, and Azuregos is located in Azshara.

The next phase will take a bit longer to release as that is when Blackwing Lair will open, and players will want to play through Molten Core a bit longer.

Phase 3 could see a release date early in the new year, likely sometime after phase 3 for Burning Crusade Classic, with February a strong candidate.
