World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Hotfixes For August 2nd

Today's Hotfixes are quite small compared to previous patch notes, although the update will bring in one big change upon the weekly reset, as well as a few bug fixes that will go live immediately.

Last week we saw the Sylvanas Windrunner loot table change, to now drop a Shard of Domination that players currently did not have.

A welcome change for players to guarantee a Shard drop, although the Shard of Rev, which drops from the world boss, was not on the loot table even if players had all the other shards.

Blizzard has now changed this and players who were unable to receive the Shard up until this point now can have it drop upon defeating Sylvanas in the Sanctum of Domination.

Priest

• Fixed an issue that caused the Courageous Ascension conduit to grant a low amount of damage while it was at 252 item level.

Dungeons and Raids

Sanctum of Domination

• Fixed an issue that caused Hollowsoul's Gaoler's Chains to hit targets not inside the area-of-effect.

Items and Rewards

Shards of Domination

• [With weekly maintenance in each region] Shard of Rev now also has a chance to drop from Sylvanas Windrunner.

Torghast, Tower of the Damned

Anima Powers

• Sweet Dreams should no longer teleport players to unintended locations.

Expect to see a larger list of hotfixes to go live on the weekly reset along with the Shard of Domination buffs.
