With Blizzard's new mentality of "some changes" ahead of the upcoming re-release of The Burning Crusade on June 1st, what microtransactions will be making their way into the game?
We recently saw images leaked which lead players to believe a deluxe edition was going to be added into The Burning Crusade.
Blizzard also confirmed during Blizzconline that a boosting service will be available as a one-off allowing players to reach level 58 instantly to prepare to re-enter the dark portal.
What Microtransactions Are Coming to The Burning Crusade Classic?
Update 19th of May - Blizzard has Included a toy into the 6-month subscription option for players that used to only reward an in-game mount for Shadowlands, but will now include the Imp in a Ball toy.
Summon the enigmatic imp in his fortune-telling ball to answer any yes or no questions you may have. Veracity not guaranteed. Once you purchase the 6-month subscription, redeem your Imp in a Ball toy by accepting a special quest from Innkeepers in all capital cities, as well as Landro Longshot in Booty Bay.

Character cloning service
Upon launching the game for the first time on May 18, players will be asked if they would like to stay on their current realm which will be progressing to The Burning Crusade, or transfer to a Classic Era realm to stay on Vanilla content forever.
Players that wish to play both versions have that option and will be able to purchase a character clone for $35.00 per character.
Update - Blizzard has lowered the price of the character cloning service to $15.00 USD after players voiced their concerns over the high price.
These 3 options are purely for players that wish to take advantage of these systems, and none of them will be required in order to play the game. To play The Burning Crusade classic, all you need is an active subscription on your account.
