Top Mythic+ Players Will Be Rewarded With A Unique Title In Patch 9.1.5

In a new PTR update last week, a new title was found added to the game which rewards the top 0.1% of players of each faction with a unique title to show they are some of the best players of the season.

Players will be awarded the achievement "Tormented Hero: Shadowlands Season 2" which gives the title Name, the Tormented Hero.

The title is similar to that of the Keystone Conqueror title "The Tormented" which is awarded to players who reach a Mythic+ score of 1500 in season 2.

This title gives players more of a reason to push higher keys and earn unique and extremely rare titles which have been the case for PvP players and the Rank 1 Gladiator titles forever.

Top Mythic+ Players Will Be Rewarded With A Unique Title In Patch 9.1.5

The title is awarded to the top 0.1% of players on each Faction, meaning there will be more on the horde side as there is a larger player base, although the score requirements are likely to be roughly the same.

This title is also unlikely to be account-wide and only available on the character that it was earned on, although we would need to wait for the title to be available to see that for sure.

While this title is coming with patch 9.1.5, there will not be a reset in the score, as a .5 patch is not the same as a major content release so players will have until patch 9.2 to earn this title before it is removed for the new one next season.

It is good for Blizzard to start implementing more rewards for Mythic+ players, and hopefully, this will see more players try and push for that rank 1 spot each season.
