Additional Items Will Now Show As Bonus Loot In The Dungeon Journal In Patch 9.1.5

The dungeon journal has seen an update on the patch 9.1.5 PTR this week, introducing a secondary section for Bonus Loot that can potentially drop from each encounter that is not tied to the drop chance of the main items.

These items will include Conduits, Pets, certain mounts, and other expansion-specific powers that are not on the same loot table as weapons and armor.

This change is in effect for all Shadowlands content, including Raids and Dungeons and even Battle for Azeroth as well.

It is not confirmed if this change will make it to content before Battle for Azeroth, although it would be nice to see items like rare pets and mounts easier.

This small change helps players identify what items are on their own loot table, and won't affect player's chances at receive power upgrades for their characters.

The change may indicate the need to distinguish future items that are planned for the remainder of the Shadowlands or even the next expansion.

Patch 9.1.5 PTR now has most of its content on in with a smaller update this week bringing in changes to make Legion raids easier to solo.

The only major piece of content missing is the new Mage Tower apart of Legion Timewalking, which may not see any testing on the PTR to allow a fair challenge for players once it makes it to the live servers later this year.
