On Reddit, u/TheVideoGaymer linked to the half-year results for Games Workshop, which suggested that Space Marine 2 could launch next year. It's not explicitly confirmed, though Games Workshop are releasing other games including Warhammer 3, Darktide, and Lost Crusade in 2022. As such, they likely don’t want Space Marine 2 getting lost between them.

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Could Release in 2023
As stated before, nothing in these half-year results confirms that Games Workshop will release Space Marine 2 next year, but we'd speculate its likely. Either way, they do indicate that we’ll be seeing the game soon.
Beyond that cinematic trailer, not much is known about Space Marine 2 currently. Given that its a direct sequel, we'd expect it'll be another third-person action game. Space Marine saw positive reviews when it launched in 2011, and fans can pick it up on Steam right now.
