Warframe Saryn Guide - How to Obtain, Craft, and Best Builds

A deadly force of corrosive nature, Saryn is easily one of the best (if not the best) DPS characters in the whole game, especially good on the later, harder parts of the game. All their abilities point the same way and work perfectly, making her extremely aggressive by using Toxin, Corrosive and Viral damage.

Her Prime version also displays higher armor, energy capacity, and sprint speed, as well as an additional polarity. However, right now Saryn Prime is unobtainable until the Vault brings her back, so you may need to roam around the Trade Chat in case you want to obtain her blueprints.

Saryn Overview and Best Weapon Options

As stated before, Saryn relies on Toxin, Corrosive and Viral damage. These different types of damage present themselves as a variety of abilities that benefit greatly from each other, Spores being the most used by a long shot, with Toxic Lash acting upon that, and Miasma being a fast way to kill everything instantly. The remaining ability, Molt, is extremely useful to deviate aggro from yourself, which you will need for sure.

Status Effects inflicted by Saryn's weapons and abilities last 25% longer.

Recommended Weapons
If you feel like changing Saryn’s Aura mod for Growing Power, then you want weapons that can accompany that choice since this mod will give you a Strength boost every time you proc a Status Effect for a short time, ideal to spam Miasma.

Ignis, Epitaph, and Orthos will serve that purpose, and of course, if you can afford the Prime versions, the better. Use as many Forma on them as you see fit to achieve the desired build, and you'll be good to go!

Mods List
Aura Mod - Rejuvenation
Exilus Mod - Cunning Drift

  • Streamline
  • Stretch
  • Vitality
  • Steel Fiber
  • Overextended
  • Continuity
  • Transient Fortitude
  • Intensify

This build is ideal for high-level modes, such as ESO or the Steel Path survival missions. The strategy of this setup is simple: spread as many Spores as you can with your first ability and keep killing enemies, so the more you spread, the more damage it inflicts. Molt will help you to keep the aggro away, and Toxic Lash and Miasma are circumstantial tools that work in tandem with the Spores, helping you to quickly take control of a room.

For this whole build to work, you want to maximize Range and Strength while keeping an eye on your efficiency since Saryn doesn’t have a really big energy pool, and throw Continuity there so your duration doesn’t go under 100%. Rejuvenation is an Aura Mod that will help you to continuously recover Health, which is really appreciated in later levels of the game, but you can also use a Forma and change it to any Aura Mod of your preference, such as Growing Power.
