Warframe Mesa Build Guide - How to Obtain, Craft, and Best Builds

share to other networks share to twitter share to facebook

The Gunslinger Mesa is a great offensive force in the Warframe roster of characters. Proficient with firearms, she’s especially good at using Secondary weapons, where she will receive different boosts according to the weapon equipped.

Her Prime version also displays higher health, armor, and energy capacity, as well as an additional polarity. However, right now Mesa Prime is unobtainable until the Vault brings her back, so you may need to roam around the Trade Chat in case you want to obtain her blueprints.

Abilities
Passive

Mesa has improved proficiency with secondary weapons and gains a health bonus at the expense of not having a melee weapon equipped. The following are passive bonuses available to Mesa:

  • +15% fire rate with dual-wielded sidearms.
  • +25% reload speed for one-handed sidearms.
  • +50 health when no melee weapon is equipped.

Recommended Weapons

On the offensive side, Mesa can use whatever seems more convenient to you. Since you will rely most of the time on the Exalted Weapon, just think what would you want to have in store for the mission you’re getting in, and you will be fine. Tigris, Akbolto, and Ninkondi are good to go for almost any kind of mission, and of course, if you can afford the Prime or Vandal versions, the better. Use as many Forma on them as you see fit to achieve the desired build, and you'll be good to go!

Mesa has her best offensive tool in Peacemaker, an ability that turns her into a turret. However, if you want to retain mobility, her augment mod will help you to walk while shooting. Remember to re-cast the ability after reaching the minimum field of view, and you should annihilate anything that comes your way.

For this build to work, the idea is to build your Regulators as best as you can, and since Peacemaker’s range is fixed, you need to invest first in Strength, and then Efficiency and Duration. Mesa’s Waltz is what enables you to move, and Corrosive Projection will help to wear down enemies more easily
