Excalibur is one of the three starter Warframes, alongside Volt and Mag, obtainable during the quest “Awakening”. Alternatively, Excalibur's main blueprint can be purchased from the Market, and his component blueprints can be obtained from defeating Lieutenant Lech Kril on War, Mars.

Excalibur can also be bought complete from Teshin for 60,000 Reputation ‍once players have achieved Typhoon rank in the Conclave.

Excalibur Prime
Excalibur Prime is the Prime variant of the warframe Excalibur, possessing higher armor and energy, as well as additional polarities. He is a Founders-exclusive Warframe, released alongside Lato Prime and Skana Prime. All of them are currently and permanently unobtainable, since the founders' program closed on the 1st of November, 2013, thus making Excalibur Prime no longer available.

Excalibur Umbra - The Sacrifice
Excalibur Umbra is the Umbra variant of Excalibur, sporting higher armor and energy, as well as three Umbra polarities. Unique to him is his display of sentience, allowing him to fight on his own when not piloted by the Operator. Umbra is obtained by finishing the quest “The Sacrifice”.

Best Weapons For Excalibur

Excalibur is ideal for any kind of situation, and his equipment should reflect that. Tigris, Epitaph, and Nikana will serve that purpose, and of course, if you can afford the Prime versions, the better. Use as many Forma on them as you see fit to achieve the desired build, and you'll be good to go!

This build doesn’t have any special gimmick or special indication other than use your four abilities depending on the situation you’re in, and you don’t have to focus on any specific Stat. All the mods used here are going to benefit one of each stat, with a bit more preference for Strength to power up your damage values, and the rest provides more sustain, such as health, shields, or armor, along with Adaptation and its bonus on resistances.

Loadout

  • Virulent Scourge
  • Voltaic Blade
  • Reach
  • Pressure Point
  • Drifting Contact
  • Shocking Touch
  • Fever Strike

Same as the Excalibur build, there’s nothing too crazy to do here, but it is recommended to prioritize Status Chance over Critical unless we’re talking about the Umbra versions. Change the Status mods for the ones you want and you’ll be fine.
