Atlas Overview and Best Weapon Options

Atlas is in both parts a tanky and aggressive warframe. He shines by using Landslide as his main DPS tool, being able to crowd control with Petrify, divert aggro by spawning the Rumblers or create a protection layer using Tectonics.

Abilities
Passive

Wielding explosive power and incredible stamina, Atlas strengthens his insurmountable durability through battle. Strong as the mountain, Atlas is immune to knockdown effects while in contact with the ground.

Rubble
Rubble is a pickup item unique to Atlas that drops from petrified enemies and Rumblers on death. Rubble restores Health to Atlas if he is injured; if Atlas is at full health, Rubble instead grants additional Armor that decays over time.

Landslide
Bash enemies with an exploding sliding punch, and repeat for a devastating combo. Petrified enemies take extra damage, and drop Rubble when destroyed. Rubble can heal Atlas and bolster his armor.

Recommended Weapons
Atlas will need to have a dedicated Melee setup since Landslide will benefit from those mods. For that, his signature weapon Tekko is a great option, with Tigris and Epitaph being useful in almost any situation. Of course, if you can afford the Prime or Vandal versions, the better. Use as many Forma on them as you see fit to achieve the desired build, and you'll be good to go!

The idea of this build is to use the Landslide skill to obliterate enemies and consume the Rubble they drop to muster massive Armor numbers. That’s when Rubble Heap comes into play since it will boost our Landslide even more. To do that, you need to focus on Strength and pay attention to your melee weapon setup because, while it isn’t an exalted weapon, Landslide will still use your melee mods. For dramatically better results, replace the mods in the setup with their Prime or Umbral versions.
