Moss: Book II Is Coming To PSVR

Polyarc's just announced that Moss: Book II is coming to PSVR. Revealed during Sony's State of Play event, that's only been announced for the current PSVR headset so far, with no word on PC, Quest or PS5 VR editions. No release window has been given, either.

Much like before - and similar to Astro Bot, you don’t play as the protagonist directly. Quill is aware of the player’s existence as you guide her on this journey, helping to navigate environments, solve puzzles and defeat enemies.

Moss: Book II Is Coming To PSVR

Within the YouTube description, Polyarc offered this outline:

In Moss: Book II, the story picks up right where things left off following the successful rescue of Quill’s uncle Argus. Your adventure continues with the revelation that a winged tyrant leading the Arcane forces has turned its focus on Quill and is now on the hunt for her within the hexed castle where her uncle was held captive.
Lined with dangerous terrain, challenging puzzles, and enemies twisted in fire and steel, Quill’s journey will be trying—filled with triumph and heartbreak alike—but new allies, old friends, and the very nature of the castle itself can help as she works to save the world from a great unmaking.

Given Moss' ending, many had speculated a sequel was long in the works, and it earned plenty of attention back in 2018. Telling the story of Quill, a young mouse with ambitions to go beyond her quiet settlement, she found a mysterious stone during her explorations, awakening an ancient evil that overthrows her kingdom and captures her uncle.

Speaking to UploadVR, Polyarc's confirmed a few extra details, revealing Book II will be "on average" longer than the first game, build upon the player's relationship with Quill and more. Given that the first game was an utterly charming adventure, we can't wait to see what Book II brings.
