Blade and Sorcery Arrives on Oculus Quest 2 Next Week


Having been a SteamVR-exclusive since release, Blade and Sorcery - the VR medieval fantasy sandbox title by WarpFrog - is finally leaving PC, as it's now coming to Oculus Quest 2 next week.

Calling this port Blade and Sorcery: Nomad, that'll still feature the sandbox mode it's widely known for, letting players explore either the melee/swordfight or magic-based combat styles available. A new Dungeons mode will also be introduced, capable of letting players navigate through "semi-procedurally generated" chambers.

Blade and Sorcery Is Arriving To Oculus Quest 2 Next Week

Blade and Sorcery: Nomad's announcement was made during Facebook Connect 2021 event, where Mark Zuckerberg confirmed their corporate name is now being rebranded to Meta. As for the Oculus Quest 2, it'll be called Meta Quest 2 by next year as part of their rebranding, and a VR version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is also in development for the headset.
