Taken from the pages of the Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition tabletop roleplaying game, Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong is a narrative RPG that tells the interwoven tales of three different vampires as they deal with the conspiracy, murder, and power struggles of the Kindred while struggling to maintain the Masquerade meant to protect all vampires from humankind.
A new Prince rules over Boston, Hazel Iversen, the Swan.
She struggles to reinforce the Masquerade in the city, though there are forces that undermine her authority.
With Boston thrown into chaos, players control three different vampires struggling to protect their Clans, working together in the shadows using their different abilities and making choices that have real consequences in the game's story.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong appeared at Nacon Connect on July 6, 2021, where a new trailer was shown showcasing the first gameplay. A release window of February 2022 was also announced.

A new trailer premiered during E3, highlighting Leysha, one of the three playable characters in Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong.
Leysha is a Malkavian, one of the founding Clans of the Camarilla, and a Clan cursed with mental instability upon undergoing the Embrace.
The trailer opens with Leysha playing a game of hide-and-seek with her daughter, Halsey, and quickly devolves as her madness reveals itself.
A new age sets upon Boston and Hartford, as the Prince of Boston, Hazel Iversen, announces her plans to unite the two cities under Camarilla rule and strengthen the Masquerade for the Kindred of both.
Something sinister looks to undermine her plans, and an attack on her office leaves the Prince out of commission.
Uninvited guests are the worst.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong has been delayed from 2021 to February 2022, with the news revealed during Nacon Connect 2021.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong is being developed by Big Bad Wolf, a subsidiary of Cyanide, best known for its digital adaptations of Games Workshop's Blood Bowl.
NACON, one of Europe's largest video game publishers owns the company and will be publishing the game in 2021.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong is based on the portrayal of Boston in the 1990's tabletop RPG supplement books Dark Colony and Giovanni Chronicles, though it has been updated to fit modern times and to use the 5th Edition Vampire: The Masquerade rules.
