Riot Games has revealed Valorant's latest game mode, Replication.

Aimed at adding a more casual mode to the tactical shooter, game designer Kyle Powell explained that "with Replication, we are looking to create exciting and novel moments by widening the player theorycrafting space while highlighting Agent abilities."

"Quintupling down on Agents that were balanced around normal Agent restrictions, we've created lots of hilarious near game-breaking plays for players to discover."

Here's everything we know about the mode.

Valorant Replication Release Date

Replication will drop with Valorant's 2.09 update, which drops on May 11th - that's today.

What Is Valorant Replication Game Mode?

The mode will "temporarily replace" Escalation, Riot has explained.

In the mode, everyone plays as the same agent. Teams vote for their agent of choice, and the winning pick is selected by all.

What are Valorant Replication Changes?

Riot has made some subtle changes, too.

For one, all abilities are refreshed round-to-round (other than Ultimates), and players earn a fixed number of credits with which to buy their next weapon.

Worried about being blinded by a bunch of Phoenix's flashes on the map? Riot has you covered – if you get flashed twice within four seconds, you'll get a five-second buff to make you immune to blindness.
