Valorant Patch 3.03 is on its way soon, and recently players got a glimpse of all the new changes coming with this update.
Patch 3.03 will focus on fixing major bugs for agent interactions, ping correction for lag fixes and some map changes.
However, the highlight of this upcoming update is definitely the new crosshair customizations teased by Riot Games.
Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming Valorant Patch 3.03.
The official release date of Patch 3.03 was recently revealed on Twitter. Players can expect that Valorant Patch 3.03 will go live on 10th August 2021.
Patch 3.03 may well be one of the last few updates before Episode 3 Act 2 begins, so players can expect some major changes coming their way.
Valorant Patch 3.03 update is expected to go live at around 11:30 AM PT/ 7:30 PM BST/ 2:30 pm EST. This is the usual update time for major patches, however, it is subjected to change.
Players can expect that the servers will be down for a while and matchmaking will be stopped before the update goes live.
Since the Valorant PBE went live, most of the new changes coming with Patch Updates will feature first in the test environment.
These changes were directly reported from gameplay in the Valorant PBE, which means they will be added to the game sooner or later.
New customizable crosshair profiles are coming to Valorant with the next 3.03 Patch update. Players will find this feature in settings where they can customize their crosshair for HIP fire, ADS and Sniper scope.
These crosshair customizations will offer a varied range of combinations for players migrating from other FPS titles. After Patch 3.03, players will be able to save multiple crosshair profiles.
Radianite Crates will become fully susceptible to gunfire with proper weapons from all angles. This will increase the chances of getting wall-banged or do the same to opponents.
Thus, anyone camping behind open Radianite Crates on Bind, Haven, Icebox, Ascent will be vulnerable to gunfire after the patch update.
Agent Bug Fixes
Valorant Patch 3.03 will also focus on some major bug fixes that are affecting their utility across all maps.
Most of these changes featured in the PBE and were specifically focused on consistency for Sentinels and Controllers.
Viper is going to get a bug fix that will stop her Ultimate ability to form at the cursor placement point, instead of around Viper. This effectively makes a huge difference in-game as the Pit takes longer to hide Viper in the smoke.
For Killjoy's Turret, a bug has been fixed which prevents it from being concussed.
Astra's Gravity Well will not pull down players while they are attached to ascenders. Similarly, Astra players will not be able to activate Dissipate while being attached to ascenders.
The other major bug fix will be for Sage. This will prevent Boombot, Fakeout, and Owl Drone from destroying Sage's Barrier Orb. This will fix the bug which breaks a segment of the Barrier when these abilities align with it.
Network Ping Issues
The upcoming Valorant 3.03 Patch Update will also focus on Network and connectivity issues in-game.
Ping stats will start showing both the average and max ping values to help players understand network connections.
This will not only help players identify the problems with in-game lag and choppy frames, but also help them make changes based on their connectivity issues.
