Valorant Masters Day 6: Results, Scores, and More!

Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Masters Reykjavik in Iceland is already nearing its end, and the stage is set for the grand finals after the two final elimination matches which saw EU’s Team Liquid and South Korea’s NUTURN Gaming’s exits from the competition.

Team Liquid vs Fnatic

EU’s number two team Fnatic overpowered EU’s number one Team Liquid to win the EU vs EU match, 2-0, securing a match against NUTURN Gaming.

Game 1 took place in Bind which was Fnatic’s pick. It gave an early advantage for them, scoring 6-1 in the early part of the game. But the tables turned around when Team Liquid’s Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen used the Operator which eventually raised their momentum. But it wasn’t enough though, and Fnatic performed their offense really well, closing out the game 13-10.

The second game in Ascent was more of a close fight where both teams exchanged wins with one another. But Fnatic’s Martin “Magnum” Penkov led the way towards their victory and closed out the game 13-10, and the series 2-0. Team Liquid’s VCT journey came to an end after losing the match.

Fnatic vs NUTURN Gaming

It was just a matter of hours after the battle of the Europeans, and this time Fnatic went head-to-head with NUTURN Gaming who came down to the lower bracket after losing to Sentinels in the upper bracket finals.

Game 1 in Bind favored Fnatic most of the game, in which the team eventually won after they scored 13-8. Domagoj “Doma” Fancev scored 14 kills by using Raze which became essential in Fnatic’s game 1 victory.

But game 2 saw NUTURN Gaming perform much better compared to game 1. Held in Ascent, the South Koreans closed out the game 13-8 which sent the series to a do-or-die game 3 in Haven. This happened even Fnatic’s Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev notched 25 kills by using Jett.

Game three showed both teams’ desire to stay in the competition. But Fnatic proved to be the worthy opponent of Sentinels and closed out the game 13-8, and the series 2-1.

Fnatic will face Sentinels in the grand finals, where they will have a best of 5 match series to determine the champions in the first LAN world tournament for Valorant. Make sure to follow us for more action-packed coverage of the Valorant Masters!
