Valorant Masters Day 3: Results, Scores, and More!

Day three of Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Masters Reykjavik saw the first two teams making their early exits in the tournament, while one team from North America remained undefeated.

X10 vs Crazy Raccoons

The first matchup saw X10 Esports from Thailand versus Crazy Racoons from Japan in a do-or-die match. Both teams went down to the lower bracket after losing their first matches, but it was X10 who prevailed, eliminating Crazy Raccoons from the competition.

The team from Thailand won game 1 after they scored 13-9 in Haven. But it was in game 2 where X10 made a statement as they notched a dominating 13-5 victory in Icebox which caused Crazy Raccoons’ exit from VCT. Patiphan “Patiphan” Chaiwong led the charge for X10 after scoring 24 kills in game 1 using Jett and 26 kills in game 2 using Viper.

KRU Esports vs YNG Sharks Esports

In the second matchup, KRU Esports from Argentina bested Brazil’s YNG Sharks Esports after winning two consecutive games. This has sent the Sharks going home from the tournament.

In both games of KRU vs YNG Sharks, the South Americans dominated after they scored 13-5 in game 1 in Haven, and 13-6 in game 2 in Bind. KRU’s Robert “Mazino” Rivas was hailed as the MVP after listing 34 kills in game 1 and 23 kills in game 2 while using Viper for both maps.

Sentinels vs Team Vikings

The final matchup of day three saw NA’s Sentinels become undefeated for two matches already after outlasting another Brazilian team in the form of Team Vikings.

The first game was more of a winning trade during its early stages, but the momentum went to Sentinels after their five-round winning streak which closed out the game in Icebox 13-7. Another dominant performance was displayed by the Sentinels in game 2 after opening the game with a 7-0 winning streak and eventually winning it by scoring 13-6 in Haven.

Sentinels’ leader Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan and superstar fragger Tyson “TenZ” Ngo led their team in game 1 after scoring 21 and 19 kills respectively. While it was Hunter “SicK” Mims who scored 19 kills in game 2 to help Sentinels secure their second victory in VCT.

Sentinels will go head-to-head with the winner of Version1 vs NUTURN Gaming this Friday. Make sure to follow us for more action-packed coverage of the Valorant Masters!
