VALORANT Fracture Map Teaser

Riot Games released two teasers on August 31st, and both of them showcased unrevealed areas of the new Fracture map. According to experts, this new map will arrive in VALORANT with the Episode 3 Act 2 update.

From the preview, it looks like the map will have a two-spike site structure just like most of the other maps. Interestingly, the mid-section of the map might feature a Radianite reactor.

Fans predict that this area might be unplayable, or may have some hidden secret. This is the first time Radianite energy will be exposed to players inside a map's layout.

Lore enthusiasts and community experts predicted that this map may have teleportation devices similar to Bind. This new dual-biome map has two atmospheres that look similar to Bind and Breeze.

Several pointed out how the architecture for this new map looks ancient. Rusted metal, overgrown fauna, and a large Radianite reactor at the middle of the map will facilitate classic FPS gameplay favouring the defenders.

Community Theories

Experts took to Twitter to share their theories based on these official trailers. Most of the theories focus on the new map Fracture.

Interestingly, one of the theories suggests that Fracture will have an anti-bullet shield right at the middle of the map. This means that bullets will turn into pure-radianite energy if shot through the reactor.

This theory propagated after one of the trailers featured a golden bullet unravelling from its golden casing as it goes forward. Fans have also suggested that this bullet isn't a map trailer but is an Agent teaser instead.

Several believe that the next Agent 17, codenamed Deadeye, will carry a weapon that functions similar to Sova's bow in VALORANT. This bullet might be one of the tools Deadeye uses to take down opponents.

Others claim that Deadeye will have abilities to shoot through walls with his weapon. This theory definitely ties up with the bullet teaser, but nothing is confirmed as of yet.

This particular teaser has fans confused as they have never seen Radianite energy being used in bullets. It will be exciting to see how this new Agent is revealed in the ever-evolving world of VALORANT.

All these theories sound incredibly plausible but take it with a grain of salt until the update comes out on September 8th, 2021.
