NBK Switches From CS:GO To Valorant

Former CS:GO professional for teams like EnVyUs, G2 Esports, Team Vitality, and OG, Nathan "NBK" Schmitt recently announced his departure from the FPS game.

NBK also revealed that he will be switching to Valorant as a "new beginning" for his professional career. Having said that, fans across the planet expect the French superstar to prove his worth in Riot Games' tactical shooter very soon.

NBK joins Valorant

NBK burst onto the CS:GO professional scene back in 2012 as a part of VeryGames' roster. Since then, the superstar has gone on to feature on some of the top-tier CS:GO teams like Team Vitality, G2 Esports, and various others.

Here's a list of all the teams that NBK has featured on during his CS:GO career,

  • VeryGames
  • Titan eSports
  • Mercenary
  • Team LDLC.com
  • Team EnVyUs
  • G2 Esports
  • Team Vitality
  • OG

Given that the most recent team that NBK featured on is OG, it remains to be seen which team he might be joining in the future. Additionally, it also remains to be seen if OG are looking to accomodate NBK in their Valorant roster.

Needless to say, NBK's addition would be a huge power move for any Valorant roster that is looking for a member. Having said all of that, the fact that NBK was an inactive part of OG's CS:GO roster since February 2021 is a huge indication that this change was probably coming anyway.

Nevertheless, given that multiple CS:GO legends have previously shifted to Valorant, it will be interesting to see how the transition works out for NBK. On top of that, it is safe to say that NBK's fans across the globe will be eagerly waiting to see their favorite FPS superstar make it big in Valorant esports.
